Marvel 75th Year Anniversary: Top 75 Uncanny X-Men Covers, 1-25

It’s hard to believe Marvel has been around for 75 years! Sure, while DC may have them beat in the age department, this is Marvel’s year to celebrate, and celebrate they are. They are releasing special 75th year anniversary covers across their various series throughout 2014, so we thought we’d join in on the festivities starting today. For our little part, for the rest of the year we are going to feature our favorite 75 covers from some of our favorite Marvel comics.

It is a glorious time when a new X-Men movie hits the theaters. In celebration of X-Men: Days of Future Past, we decided it was time to look back through every Uncanny X-Men cover in the normal volumes since launch for our next salute to Marvel’s 75th Anniversary. Some amazing artists have worked on the series so it made for some tough decisions, but we narrowed down the list. Enjoy looking back at the best Uncanny X-Men covers before or after you hit the theater this weekend. Below we are finally unveiling our favorite covers, 1-25. This was one of the toughest choices we had to make, especially when it got down to the last 5. There will be some shockers for what we went with and some of you will feel we should have included others, so feel free to discuss in the comments below. Of course the most important thing, enjoy all the cover goodness below that you could ever dream!
