Review: ★★★★☆

Ralphael and Angel have tracked down Alopex’s hiding spot, but its not going to be easy, or warm, as they trek through Alaska to find her.  While they search, Alopex has holed herself up, trying to keep Kitsune out of her head with only partial success.  Kitsune repeatedly tries to tear her down resulting in one last psychic battle for her mind.  The issue really delves into Alopex to her core, showing us the uncertainty and baggage that Kitsune was able to leverage over her for control.  On the otherside, it also shows us just how much Alopex means to Raphael as he does everything he can to bring her back.  Campbell is a perfect choice to bring this story to life.  She jumps from one style to another effortlessly to show both the physical side of the story and mental battle for Alopex’s mind.  It certainly is boosted from Pattison’s spectacular color pallete for easily one of the best looking comics this week.
