Review:  ★★★★★

His wife and village were murdered.  His child was taken from him.  Gilad has traveled a long way to exact his wrath on those responsible.  If you wanted to watch him absolutely destroy many, many men, this is the right issue for you.  Thanks to Ryp’s art, the issue is a very bloody one with some spectacular deaths.  Not only that, but we are introduced to a brand nw villain for Gilad who has many similarities, except one big difference.  It’s a new player on the board who should play into the upcoming arc and hopefully for awhile to come.  This easily could have been a throw away arc before Labyrinth starts.  Instead Venditti and Ryp gave us a wonderful look at Gilad’s rage, his son we were recently introduced to, and now this new immortal.  This is Gilad as we love him, in another excellent issue from an excellent series.
