Another face from the DC universe is lined up to appear on NBC’s upcoming series, Constantine. IGN is reporting that Jim Corrigan, who in the DC comics becomes the Spectre, will be joining the show in a recurring role. Irish actor Emmett Scanlan has been cast in the role, who you might have seen most recently in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
It does not sound as though we will see Corrigan turning into the Spectre any time soon. Instead focus on his work as a homicide detective who is pulled into Constantine’s world of occult. At the same time, we cannot imagine the show will not explore his change into the Spectre at some point.
Are you excited to see Constantine bringing other DC characters into its universe?
