WHOOOAA!…That was a wicked long break good friends. On a brighter note we have returned to review Doomsday Clock #11. Let’s just say I still believe this story and book are beyond brilliant. Let’s try and support that bold statement. First off. Gary Frank’s art is fantastic. It’s detailed and each character is totally believable in the space they occupy. He simply the keeps his own style but doesn’t copy Dave Gibbons but gives praise to the design. Second.  The story was meant for a way for Ozymandias to save his world or convince Dr. Manhattan that’s something he should do. Geoff Johns has actually managed to explain the many many variations of Superman. Issue 11 explains details that we’ve missed from OZ. Lex Luthor shows up some info that really shouldn’t surprise us considering he is a genius. Finally.  The last 11 issues have been designed to put Superman and Dr. Manhattan in the same space. Issue #12 should provide the answers or possibly a battle of a lifetime. As to whether this story will have any weight in the DC Universe really remains to be seen. It could be another multiverse that Johns has created to justify his story. Considering, I hope this story has a lasting impression.
