Review: ★★★★☆

Somewhere in Kansas City is the key to “Fix the World”. Willa is on a race against Barrow to restore gravity to the planet. I keep forgetting that the earth still has low-gravity. Willa jumps to Kansas city. It’s fascinating that the creators come up something so simple. Mind you…her trip isn’t perfect. When we get to see KC at the first time, it’s hard to imagine the bugs did all the damage they did. Joe and Lee come up with a puzzle to keep Willa on her toes. Her father’s message isn’t clear, but doable for our hero. The last issue teased a character in the back ground. This character does play an important part to what happens next. The revelation to the end of the book is surprising on two levels. It’s absolutely worth the read. Lee Garbett’s art is still quality work. Joe Henderson writes a nice afterword at the end of book to explain a little as to why they did what they did. It’s cool that they go to these lengths to appreciate what the reader has just experienced. Issue #11 also begins the set to what might happen in Chicago. The next issue should be a great read with many things to come.
