Review: ★★★★☆
Skyward does a great job of putting Willa in place where she has to make a questionable choices. Rescuing Barrow in order to save lives isn’t really at the top of her list. It just seems her would be boyfriend Lucas is willing to give up just about everything for his choices. Skyward #10 does it’s job of making Willa the hero we want her to be. Her friend Edison mirrors her own problems. He’s something that Lucas needs to bring Chicago down. Henderson has done enough to transition his characters off in different directions. This issue doesn’t really add to how clever Henderson can be when living in a low gravity world. He does come up with an unique use for a giant bug that some might find hard to stomach. As Willa, Edison, Barrow and Lucas race towards their future, we are left with an interesting cliffhanger that’ll provide more questions for this story over all. With one more question book two ends on a high note.
