Review:  ★★★★☆

It was my concern that, what should happen once this story has run it’s course. Marvel answers my question by simply ending the series at issue #12. This last issue becomes a sort of loose end type of book. It focuses primarily on the Human Torch and the Invisible Woman. They have to come to terms with the fact that the Human Torch has been led astray by his family. It actually brings greater depth to the Johnny Storm character. Through the course of the book we get quality fight between the two and Mole Man. It’s classic Fantastic Four moment. Plus the pair get to cut loose in the battle. It was totally worth the price. We also get caught up with Rachna Koul. Her motivations don’t necessarily make her right but it brings the character down to earth. Perez’s art is extremely fun. The Mole Man scenes are great monster pieces. The finale page warms the heart with hopes that the Fantastic Four have a future ahead of them.
