Issue #3 continues “Charlie” & Vita’s escape from the Reapr’s assassins that are trying to off the “Million Dollar Girl”. The last issue gave us more back story on Vita, which helps us empathize to the character. We also gained a list of potential people that could have started the campaign. This issue mostly has Charlie and Vita on the run. There are hysterical chase scenes through out the book. The stereotype of Charlie is still maintained throughout the chase scenes. The pair eventually discover how they are being tracked so well. The creators also add two more characters to the chase. One of the Reapr players is more of a celebrity killer that does it for the fame. The other was introduced last issue and she gets a decent page count here. It’s hard to believe that regular people would pay to see some killed as part of a social app. The art is whimsical enough to keep it not too serious. We could add to the campaign and hope the excitement of the story continue until the next issue.
