Review: ★★★★☆

Issue #8 does what I’ve been wanting for some time now. It provides answers to what Xing is up trying to achieve. She’s been in contact with her ex-wife Amanda for awhile. It finally comes across like something is happening. Kot clearly has a plan for this group of people. This issue has more going on. The conversation between Freeman and his wife is truly interesting and clever look at men and women. It helps put the perspective that this America has split more then on a race issue. Zezelj continues with fantastic dark illustrates to keep the mood sober. This issue continues the build up and gives us more in regards to what could happen to Xing is she slips. I’m just excited that the progressed enough to up the interest in what comes next.
