It’s October and time for some good old scary stories to pass the time. Star Wars Adventures does this by doing a five week series of horror type stories. The first book introduces a group of Rebels that forced to land on a strange lava type planet. Their ship design is very clever and somewhat familiar to Star Wars. Based on the title alone we know where this is heading. Vadar in the title sparks the interest for what is about to come. The book is a story within a story though. We are introduced to these new characters but they tell to story involving Hera and Kanan. It’s fun space ship haunting tale. Keep in mind that their ship is called the Ghost, so it works for many reasons. This issue is the first in this series so it’s more of an introduction, so…maybe a little let down considering the book’s title. I can’t wait to read the next issue to see how Darth Vader eventually ties into the “probably” short lives of these brave Rebels.
