Review: ★★★☆☆

If it’s one thing that Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack probably know about is the Comic Book Convention scene. Why not write about it? Put a spin on the situation. Max Field is the artist of Ninja Sword Odyssey. He is doing what a good comic artist does and shows his art a a con. Fans. Fans can be creepy, but a fan that drops 2000 dollars at a artist table can be rare. Julia is that such fan, but is there more to Julia. It’s a mystery that Bendis creates as we get into the story of  Cover. The title happens to mean two things in this story. It’s interesting that Max resembles Bendis…hince write what you know again. The comic has the potential to be a clever spy story with an even better cover story. I’m not all thrilled by Mack’s artwork. I like a more detailed designed characters and back ground. I say this but I truly love his painted design that flows nicely from page to page. It’s just a style that you have to get used to looking. New books are sometimes  hard to jump into. I had to read this one a couple times to really hook me, but I think this could be a quality read for the future.
