I found it’s sometimes hard to reconnect to a story when I’ve been away from it so long. Days of Hate has been one of the those titles that  I wait to read and review. I want to savor the story and hopefully show my gratification here. Issue #7 places the story seven weeks later and I was at a loss. Huian was in a situation I didn’t see coming. I think about her relationship with the other character it makes sense in a harsh way. It really feels like Ales Kot is building up for a much bigger ending that could simply slap us in the face. Amanda and Arvid have made their way to Pittsburgh.  I’m not sure of what their quest happens to be. They have a really strange interaction that is yet again confusing. This issue has come off a little odd and has an ending has me scratching my head. I  believe the book needed shift so it can go somewhere more tangible. Zezelj’s art is still fantastic and dark. There’s enough detail to keep us interested in every page and continues to give us more after more with each panel. We have 5 issues left to see where this story will take us.
