Review: ★★★★★

In true Mighty Marvel form, Marvel relaunches Captain America again. Fortunately they have added the legacy numbers to know where we should pick up. Captain America has been one of the faces of Marvel for several decades. Secret Empire changed that face for the people of the Marvel Universe. His name was cleared of being a Hydra leader. Coates has comes to terms that it’s not enough that he was cleared. People simply don’t trust the Captain America they once knew. It puts Steve Rogers in an uncomfortable position of the anti-hero. He has to fight the thugs that wear the American flag like “patriot” Frank Simpson. Hydra agents attacking innocents is a good reason to put Captain America in the good fight. I have been a reader of Captain America for years. I wasn’t fan of the Secret Empire concept. I’ve seen Steve Roger quit Captain America to only come back again. How does the world gain faith back in Captain America? Coates has someone that clearly hates Hydra even more. It should be a quality fight. We fortunately also have Leinel Frances Yu to pencil this story for us. He will have the challenge of making Cap look cool again with his thin line work. It’s great that they put Cap back in his more classic uniform. If you haven’t read Captain America in awhile this is a great jumping on point, plus you have a butt load of covers to choose from.
