Review: ★★★★☆

Death or Glory Issue #3 gives us the brief recap of Issue #2. I’m behind so I needed the catch up. The next 11 pages lets us in on Glory’s back story. It was totally necessary for to understand where she comes from. I found it interesting that we probably have a society of people in America that live on the road. It’s not really beyond impossible. Where does that leave Glory now? She’s stuck trying to help Pablo rescue his sister from the butcher shop. This issue is a simple break-in, steal the money and save the sister. Rick Remender does not want to make Glory’s life that easy. On top of that the man with the liquid nitrogen shows up to make things interesting. The back half of the book has tons of stuff going on that’s not surprising, until you get to that final page. My jaw dropped and the clues were there. I’m not 100% sure I want to read the next issue except I want to know what happens next. Bengal’s art is still fantastic. His art makes a warm impression especially during the back story of the book. I think this story will keep read glued and  I could wonder what could be more shocking from here on out.
