Review: ★★★★☆

Issue #6 of Days of Hate follows up the events of Issue #5 with more back story off Huian and Amanda. Last issue, we got dropped into a much bigger plot. This issue makes the reader try to emphasize with two characters by simply showing the first time they had a tender moment. It’s a moment in most people’s lives that could be taken for granted, but these characters are bonded by the event. With everything the two have gone through this makes us look more toward their plight. As Amanda prepares for fight that is coming soon, Huian has another agenda in their story. I thought that this issue turned the book in way that shows us that people have a good reason to fight. Zezelj’s artwork continues to amaze me with the dark panels and Jordie Bidikar’s flashes of color in just the right spot. This book could easily be a painting in an art gallery, which would be really cool to see in sequence. Issue #6 will give the creators a small break until August 22nd. I can’t wait to see what happens next since we are left with two cliffhangers.
