Issue #602 continues Matt Murdock’s run as the mayor of New York. I never been a big fan of the bi-weekly comics schedule, but for this Daredevil I want it to progress faster. A month later and we’re still only hours into the Hand’s raid on New York. This issue has tons of good stuff. Foggy Nelson helps Matt find a way to be mayor and Daredevil, which can be tricky for hero with a secret identity. Blindspot continues to come to terms with his battle with Muse in issue 600. Releasing the “beast” I believe is what he called it. I would say it drives the story but it’s hard to say at this point. Anderson’s art continues to be fabulous. I enjoy the subtleties his brings to Murrdock’s expressions. The way he presents him with his glasses show that there’s a glimmer in his eye with actually showing his eyes. The issue also comes with some cool battle scenes with Daredevil and Blindspot fight the Hand. We’re left with a cool cliffhanger that actually calls back to the ending of the Netflix Defender’s series. I’m enjoying Soule’s take on the Devil(mayor) of  New York. I hope the run continues it’s excellent run. On that note though DD is published bi-weekly…603 review coming soon.
