Review:  ★★★★☆

I think that we have to accept that Curse Words isn’t titled Wizord, so not everything is about the Wizord. This is why we get the beautiful cover featuring Ruby Stitch. We do get a back story featuring a giant burping frog, Jacques’s everlasting punishment, and the fact that Wizord and Ruby just did the horizontal mambo above New York City on a magical bed. The story has done a fantastic job to expand as the issue continues to run. Curse Words never ceases to amaze me how strange and wonderful the book can be. It’s by far one of the most colorful comics in print today. The characters are memorable and consistent. Margaret has also magically shape shifted into another marsupial and gotta wonder how many more are going to come from the mind of Charles Soule. Eventually The Wizord and Ruby will get down to truly finding her and well Ruby kinda sets that in motion at the end of the book. This is one book I look forward to every month and I will be sad if it actually ends it’s planned course. So keep buying this series, no matter what it takes, give Soule and Browne reason to keep the Wizord doing his magic.
