Review: ★★★★☆

Bonehead has become one of my new favorite books by Glitch studios. I find the detailed artwork a pleasure to behold. I’m normally not one for the anime art design, but this book does a solid job by not using that influence to heavily. Issue #3 gives us insight into Detective Hideki and his alter ego Black Death. The best part of the story is 56 goes to meet his new friend Pumpkin Juice. He is put to the test as he faces the gang leader Tyrant. It’s wild test that pushes the skills of both players. It’s a very bonding moment as well. Black Death goes face to face with another new character which simply needs to be seen. We get dropped a nice cliffhanger. Issue 4 and the rest of series should be an excellent read if it continues at this pace.
