Review: ★★★★☆

I must admit  I’ve never been a reader of Daredevil in any sense. It just wasn’t a book that I picked up. I was more interested in team books like the Avengers. I know and understand the character, besides I’ve seen the movie and the Netflix series. I do, though, appreciate milestones. Issue 600 is one that is worth picking up as a collectible. The example would primarily be Amazing Spider-man, which I was reading at the time. If you’re a DD fan this is one worth dropping the 6 bucks on…the opening splash page by Ron Garney opens with 8 heroes: Spider-man, Echo, Misty Knight, Moon Knight, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones (husband and wife…last I checked), Iron Fist, and of course Mr. Devil himself. The group is tracking down a meeting of New York’s biggest bosses in an attempt to catch them all. Wilson Fisk (Kinpin, the mayor of New York) has set up this meeting to lay down the law of the city. Things don’t always go the way they should and that is the expectation of any high adventure comics. The cliffhanger of the book and the events leading up to them make this a worthy read and Charles Soule should be proud. Through out the book there is a back story with Blindspot and the villain Muse (which both happen to fall like minor characters in New York), that is an interesting turn of events. If you know and love Daredevil this will be a nice addition to your collection.  I would say this isn’t bad jumping point for new readers as well. Christos Gage and Mike Perkins also give us a nice back story to fill the book and your 6 bucks worth.
