Review: ★★★☆☆

When you read many comics, your exposed to different styles and designs. There isn’t too many things that surprise you along the way. Which brings us to Prism Stalker and the introduction to Vep. The character we are introduced to in the beginning lives in a world that seems organic. It’s all very organic. Almost too organic and it seems that the character are living inside a living organism.  It’s a very odd story which places Vep as being cared for by creatures that have putty like bodies that are almost horse like. Leong’s artwork flows constantly and doesn’t use go for a serious amount of detail. The feel of the book gives a vibe like I’m listen to really poppy 80’s soundtrack. I could image the high notes on the keyboard being played as I read the story. The care takers of the human-like characters have a leader that is different enough to put a slight amount of fear into the readers. Vep’s actions will carefully lead us up to the next with great fascination. The book a much great meaning to it that I had to read a couple of times for it to come across.
