Review: ★★★☆☆

Our first introduction to Paradiso wasn’t something that I really took hold of me. Something about the story drew me back in and peaked my interest. Issue 2 begins its story by sort of explaining how Paradiso came to be and bringing it to a more down to earth level. Our main character Jack provides revelation to pretty much how we think and continue to react to things that happen to us in the past. It’s very deep and actually insightful. Jack continues most of the book working his way to Paradiso and through his memories. Throughout the book we get an interest interaction with Hazard and his companion. Jack also meets a character that saves his from certain death and creates a sense of trust. I felt the artwork improved from the previous issue. The mutated colors also work well in this dystopian society. I’m glad I jumped back in and can say I’m look forward to the next issue to see where it goes.
