Review: ★★★★☆

Hopefully you made it to a little flick called Thor Ragnarok over the last six months. The movie takes it cue from the original Planet Hulk story line. Incredible Hulk #712 turns that story around and drops Thor Odinson into the battle area for our enjoyment. In the tradition of the mighty Marvel style we get a battle royal for the ages. The battle has a somewhat predictable ending and it’s awesome when Thor cuts off the Hulk’s head. Well that didn’t actually happen. It’s a solid battle that also takes place within Cho’s mind. Does he unleash the Worldbreaker or does he not? The supporting character Maeera does her best to push his buttons. The Warlord does what bad guys normally do and drops a huge bomb.  Greg and Jay continue their solid art style on the story and it’s nice to see the consistency. This particular issue was one we were wanting to see. Guest stars are a great way to sell books. It looks like we’re going to get some solid mix ups in the book in the future. It is possible that there might be a jump to the World War Hulk but I haven’t seen any signs yet.
