Review: ★★☆☆☆

Week three of Forces of Destiny gives an addition tail of Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels. This was one book I was really looking forward being a giant fan of Rebels. I have to say I was actually disappointed by this book. The story was very much in line with what we generally see Hera do on Rebels, but all came across forced. What lost me is it felt generic with characters that didn’t seem like they fit in the Star Wars Universe. The book had an otter looking character and an elf-ish type character. I know that the Star Wars Universe has thousands and thousands of world with different species, but these felt out of place. Hera works well within the Rebels group but might not really play so well by herself. The book still has that cartoony family feel which would be fine for the younger audience, but for hard-core Star Wars fans will find this one forgettable.
