Review: ★★★★★

There are no words to describe how difficult it must be for Johns to integrate the world of the Watchmen into the DC Universe. The Watchmen comes from the complex mind of Alan Moore. The Watchmen are superheroes in a harsher world where real life actions of their past catches up to them in ways that well make sense. The story as follows shows Ozymandias attempting to escape the nuclear resolve of Dr. Manhattan. He has gained help from a new Rorschach and two characters named Marionette and the Mime. The M&M characters resemble The Joker and Harley Quinn but one major difference. It frankly motivates the characters in the story. Johns has done such a fantastic of giving the story the proper tone of Watchmen without forgetting that a cross to the DC Universe puts it soundly in that world now. The book is dark and begins to square off each of its players in kind. Luthor vs Ozymandias and Rorschach against, well, I won’t completely drop the ball here. I would suggest this to our older readers and since the comic market is down at the moment this book should be an excellent extra read. I simply do not want to wait for every issue, this story will be incredible.
