Review: ★★★☆☆

Our story begins with a traveler with a past, Jack Kryznan. This man happens to be a cross between Indiana Jones and Jack Burton. His quest is to gain access into the city of Paradiso. I don’t think it’s really a trip Jack wants to make. This story has elements we’ve seen in several post apocalyptic type stories. It has that whole last good city left on the planet sort of thing. The thing that makes Paradiso interested is how our storytellers mix machines with man. There are two “bad guy” type characters that really stand out and whom would  be fascinating to see fleshed out. The final panel of the tale has a large gentlemen with all types of stuff coming out of his body. The artwork in the story has a sketchy type of style that isn’t great, but has a living like motion to it. The design of each characters in the panels make sense and each person has a specific type of movement. I haven’t decided if this is a title I’ll want to stick with but I would like to give the next issue a read before I make a final decision.
