Review: ★★★☆☆

IDW returns to the massive team-up of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters. Neither hero group lives on the same dimension. A teleportation accident had allowed the two to mix and mingle between worlds. On the heals of a previous victory against CHI-YOU, the two groups face another challenge from the Collectors and Darius Dun. The first issue is nice ground work for what is to come later. It’s really small that the teams split and pair a Turtle with a Ghostbuster. The concept of each personality of the group that happens to be similar pairing up is fun. The art in the story feels a little too exaggerated. I know that drawing with photo realism might not work so well and the likeness are close but it’s seems too rushed. Otherwise the book feels more Ghostbusters then Turtle so the balance appears off so we will hope they can fix this going forward.
