Review: ★★★☆☆

Some stories simply need to be read once.  Kid Lobotomy is so bizarre it requires reading twice or a third time to admire the art. Our return to the Suites hotel is so completely to left that the cliffhanger they left us on the hook with was strange. Kid wasn’t damaged at the end of the book and the revelation was interesting to be sure. Healing the wounded was what was called for now. Kid’s healing does end up having a somewhat drastic side effect which could be good for him, though probably not great. The end of this comic rides in like a fabulous stallion and give us some looming foreshadowing. Peter Milligan’s tale is a hard story to follow when it strays in some offbeat places but it’s such a unique read that one must pick it up. Since it seems almost everything is possible in this twisted tale it’s hard to see where the book will go from here.
