Review: ★★★★☆

Star Wars Adventures gives us a nice take on FIN-2187 prior to the events of Force Awakens. The First Order has him washing a shuttle that was covered with mud when they were on a local planet. This is a geared for kids so it’s not that serious. An alien life form has boarded the shuttle and it causing all kinds of havoc. We get glimpses of Captain Phasma and Kylo Ren along the way, but more importantly we get to see Finn’s internal struggle with what’s right and wrong. It gives our younger readers a look at something noble. The second story focuses on K-2 from Rogue One. Cassian  and K-2 have rescued young wookies and K-2 gets the job of babysitting. This story is again told by Emil Graf (grandson of a rebel hero). The comic is a fun casual read for any age. I imagine hardcore Star Wars would gripe about little things here and there but overall it’s a great way to expose young readers to other parts of Star Wars. The tease cover for next month has Luke and Leia. We have many things to look forward to in the next book.
