Review: ★★★★☆

Aric versus a seemingly unstoppable alien invasion force.  It feels like he’s been in this spot quite a few times.  And it seems like it never ends well for the alien invasion force.  Naturally Aric does what he does best, waging war and kicking some alien ass.  What makes it more beautiful than normal is having Clayton Crain on art duty this week.  Crain previously wowed us during Rai and 4001 A.D., so he certainly knows how to make epic sci-fi battles look gorgeous and bloody.  With one threat out of the way, Aric still has one more immediate threat to take over before it’s over.  Which is it really ever over for an old soldier like Aric?  Probably not.  While we’re sure there are plenty more battles to be waged during this series, we’re enjoying every minute of it.
