The main villain Babel had currently been the weakest link in Rapture. Luckily the issue starts with a look into his past and motivations, more so than we had seen before. It makes him much more interesting and compelling as a result. The rest of the issue felt more like a stepping stone on the way to the conclusion than a full-blown issue on its own. Even so, there were plenty of great moments along the way, especially Rex being a badass. (When can we expect a Rex the Razer miniseries?) While it was a step below the first two issues, it did its job in getting us even more excited for the finale. Each character has had their moment to shine during this series with the exception of Shadowman who has more or less been along for the ride. Here’s to hoping next issue give us a glimpse of the old Shadowman we knew and love.
