Review:  ★★★☆☆

Funkos have begun to take over the world. IDW added to the Funko obsession by publishing a month long line of one-shots turning their biggest properties into versions of the toys. The book plays/reads out like a Saturday morning cartoon with cheesy dialog and animated like style. The plot revolves around the Turtles and a sugar sweet breakfast cereal. With some cereals it’s all about the toy in the box. The book is totally geared for a younger audience. It’s not hateful at all and I appreciate simplicity that the Funko brand brings to Pop culture. I guess we’re fortunate that this is a ONE-SHOT to which IDW is attempting to try to sell to the masses.  For one issue it’s amusing, but anything longer than that would be a little to much.
