Title: Eternal Empire #1

Eternal Empire begins simply with a lay of the land. I like that in the beginning of book. Then we get a bunch a people in robes, some weird ceremony minus one robe, and some odd dragon. Jump ahead 141 years where we get a bunch of people in a field that are working in the cold. It introduces our main character that obviously will have some greater purpose. These are the people of Essla and they work to feed the Empress’ army. I’m not really sure how I feel about Eternal Empire. The artwork is sharp and concise. The whole book looks like it was a well thought out animation story, minus a lot of detail. The story feels like its own world, but generic at the same time. It’s issue one and I’m not totally sold. The next issue will probably bring more to life and answer questions.
