Review:  ★★★★☆

Judge Dredd pulls the whole William Tell act and wakes up 1000 years later. MegaCity One is and 800 million people missing. Dredd apparently found all these people and is walking the Earth to restore the law to the Blessed Earth. You know I can stand to read a decent Judge Dredd comic once a month. Blessed Earth is one such story line where Dredd can do what he does. Dredd does get into a spot of trouble where his clever thought process can cause all kinds of kinds of mayhem and a painful outcome for Dredd. It’s nice to see Dredd out of his normal element inside MegaCity. The story also goes back and forth between Dredd and Judge Quinn. Quinn has come across a suspicious murder which is strange to be sure. The artwork has excellent detail and the facial expressions of the characters work well with the story. If you’re a lifelong Judge Dredd fan then it’s a continued joy, but if your just jumping on the book then it’s an excellent time to don the armor and get out the riot foam.
