Can I say, I did not see that coming. Khaal #4 concludes the story arc of the Galactic’s Emperor’s Chronicles. I can’t say that I disappointed by the ending or that the series is over. The title of the story is GALACTIC EMPEROR. This guy must win in the end. I usually say the ride to the end of story is something to behold, but it’s not the ending I wanted. Sure Khaal had reached a sort of godhood in his conquers. Our storytellers have brought the book to a sort of moral high ground that I wasn’t expecting and part of me hates it, but part of me is finding that part of tale more to relate. We are all Khaal and we have the little things that we have to conquer. Take all that from this story and you might just come up with a nice little metaphor to what drives our lives. If you haven’t read Khaal in its broken up comic form you might want to wait for a collected works by Titan Comics. Read it in one sitting and enjoy what the book has to offer.
