Review:  ★★★★☆

Our heroes return in the second issue after gaining possession of some precious cargo. The cargo happens to end up being a baby. There really is nothing worse you can do than give the Scoundrels a baby. Of course, they simply decide the best thing to do is sell the baby. Sell the baby? What the?!? OK, this is a space story and our heroes eventually have a change of heart after a series of mis-adventures. Cosmic Scoundrels is a fun book with a sketchy art style that does take some getting used to looking at. The colors are bright and stand out in all the right places. I also appreciate and really like the character designs. The aliens and supporting cast give the book a “TAD” more depth. Obviously the baby has some major importance to the story or women in robes wouldn’t be after him. Cosmic Scoundrels also has some mini back-up stories to help the novelty of the whole thing.
