Review:  ★★★☆☆

Khaal returns years later after conquering the queen of the prison planet. With that, Khaal has indeed become the galactic emperor. END STORY.  Wait, not so fast.  This emperor is obsessed and consumed by a psychic hunger to become a god. Khaal’s story is a harsh tale and he is not a character we should admire in any sense. So why keep reading this vicious story well?  The story is progressing. Years have passed and Khaal is trying to find something more than himself. Louis and Valetin give us more back story on how Khaal and his brothers gained their combined powers. Khaal also has the sexual stamina to “satisfy” the females of a psychic race that gain visions when they are pleasured. Khaal is a conquer in every part of his brutal life. The artwork is still excellent with its painted like style. This story could wrap itself easily or it could stretch out as far as the galaxies that Khaal has destroyed. This issue just builds on what has come before so hopefully it doesn’t stop from here.
