Review:  ★★★★☆

Once Upon a Time there was a wizard. Then it all went to hell.  Upon first laying my eyes on Curse Words I didn’t think I would like Curse Words, or for that matter enjoy it. Wizord or “Wizard” came from another dimension to conquer earth. Wizord discovers our world is one of free will where people go where they want and enjoy life. The Wizord become a hipster sort of celebrity using his magic to help impress and help people. The opening scene is somewhat disturbing. He is convinced to turn a man into to platinum. It doesn’t really go that well and we are introduced to the nemesis of  this story. The book gives a little back story and how the dimension the evil wizards are from are out to no good. The artwork of the book is fun and has a really good use of thick and thin lines. The characters really stand out as something memorable. The story gives us enough to want us to continue what happens next. The Wizord is in conflict with our world and the one he comes from, so let’s hope that where we go from here is worth the read.
