Review:  ★★☆☆

If you’re a fan of any science fiction you have some idea who Doctor Who happens to be. This latest issue of DW re-introduces the cult sect the Silence, or the Scream.  This alien thing has a bright idea to steal the memories of the Doctor, who has been around for thousands of years. The Scream wants to then inhabit another “seed” body that will spread all over the planet and then to another planet.  Like many other instances, the Doctor achieves escape with a new goal ahead. The story is decent, very much a Doctor Who story. I just can’t get past the artwork, though. Some of the thick and thin lines work well for the illustrations of the Doctor, but not so much for the rest. The Silence is meant to be scary creatures that were created for show, but you just don’t get that feeling here. There are many other quality  Doctor Who books to read this month, so skipping this one might not be too bad of an idea
