Review:  ★★★★

Year 3 continues the adventures of the Tenth Doctor after the Doctor, Gabby, Linda and an amnesiac “Noobis” have saved the Universe from the Osiran god Sutekh. All three characters sort of wake up in a daze, not remembering who they are.  I guess saving the universe can take a lot out you. The Doctor wakes up in an alley with a Hobo-ish man who calls him Smithy. Maybe some reference to another doctor but it’s hard to tell. The city that our heroes have been dropped into has a somewhat center called the Department (which I imagine could some poke at modern consumerism) Store. It’s apparently guarded by Wraith Hounds which are named aptly. Both Gabby and Linda have similar circumstances where they have people guarding them or looking over them. The whole thing is very suspicious and will probably set up a much bigger plot later on. The story runs pretty smoothly and jumps from each character to another without problem. Within the story, Linda connects with Noob and even more creepy events occur making the situation all the more strange. It also gives the Doctor some interaction with Linda and gives us an interesting splash page ending.
