Could Master Splinter be the next villain the Turtles have to face? It sure is looking that way. After the Turtles found out Splinter allowed their friend and tech Harold Stockman be captured by the Street Phantoms, Leonardo looks for reassurance from his father. While Splinters reasonings are already sounding a little dark, more of his plans come to light by the end of the issue making him seem pretty dastardly. Either way, the book is ready to bring on an all out street war next issue that is already looking to be insane. Beyond Splinters wavering morality and the Turtles growing chasm with their father, Harold has time to show that he is not completely helpless on his own. We also learn of a deeper connection he has with his former colleague who is working with the Phantom’s. As usual there is plenty going on this month and the creative team brings it all together perfectly.
