Review:  ★★★★★

The Wicked + The Divine is back after a short break with one hell of an issue!  The last arc was a little slow, even if necessary to finally delve deeper into some of the gods who never had a chance to be showcased before.  There is nothing slow about this issue and it throws you into the thick on page one.  A seemingly dead character is back.  I don’t want to spoil too much, even if the cover of the issue reveals quite a bit.  They are back and they are pissed off right from the start.  We end the issues with plenty of questions about what has happened in their absence and what their plan is now, but you’ll have little time to care because it is that good and engaging.  It draws you in and doesn’t let go for the first or subsequent issues.  The Wicked + The Divine is a fantastic series, but I have no hesitations saying this was my favorite issue of it yet.  This is the time to jump on board if you haven’t already.
