Review:  ★★☆☆☆

If Insufferable were a movie, On The Road is the made for TV sequel.  It just feels a little more hokey and like the stakes are gone from the original.  As the father and son heroes try to track down the embezzler who took off with all of their money, a murder gains Nocturnus’s attention while an angry child fan club gains Galahad.  The main plot feels as though it is on the back burner for the moment, though I imagine that at least the murder will tie back in.  Yet the fan club portion is a bit much.  We understood how far Galahad’s image has fallen in the first issue, but do we really need to throw in him getting bothered by an upset fan club?  The original series had several events to poke at Galahad’s actual character while keeping it grounded.  Things are getting very close to going off the rails into a parody of itself.  Hopefully the creative team can reign it back in to its original balance.
