Review:  ★★★★★

We knew from the start, Gilad would of course conquer the underworld dregs trying to keep him from coming back to life.  What we didn’t expect was such an interesting twist in his resurrection which could make him see his family much sooner than expected.  We’re jumping ahead of ourselves, as the majority of the issue focuses on him fighting past his last obstacle.  His trusty axe comes in handy as he slashes his way through, a magical experience for our eyes because of Allen and contributors fantastic art capturing each blow.  As the conclusion hits, we’re left with so many questions that we can’t wait to learn the answers for.  The closing of the first arc solidified this is one of Valiant’s best titles right now.
