Review:  ★★★☆☆

While Punk Mambo uses her captured loa to deal with Ember, Ninjak comes face to face with the Magpie.  Using his suit’s scanners, he comes to realize what was revealed to us last issue, that the Magpie is in fact a former ally.  We come to learn more about how he became the Magpie and what his current goals are.  Ninjak offers a helping hand to his friend, only for a misunderstanding to put them at odds.  It was a predictable outcome, now we just have to see the final resolution next issue.  Kindt continues to utilize Neville as the narrator, this time relating that they are liable for some of the damages that occurred in the Deadside.  As we’ve felt the entire arc, Neville’s interruptions are just annoying, especially on something as odd as going into damage liabilities for the Deadside;  even thrown in just for humor it falls flat.  On the bright side of the destruction, Braithwaite really goes all out is some spectacular action panels, easily the highlight of the issue.
