Review:  ★★★☆☆

The reunited father and son duo of Nocturnus and Galahad return where we last left them, on the trail of Galahad’s former business manager who embezzled his entire fortune.  It quickly feels like a spring break trip to the Cayman Islands as the only way they could afford the trip was by Galahad agreeing to promote a cheap American rum-flavored malt beverage there.  The tone from the first volume has certainly changed, as it now spends considerable time showing Galahad forced to eat his pride in comical ways.  The joke flows through the entire issue, but it wears fast pretty quick.  The stakes get raised by the end of the issue for the two heroes, though it was a to little to late.  While enjoyable, the next issue will have some work to do for us to really take it serious once more.
