Review:  ★★★☆☆

Dead Vengeance ends just as it started, with ridiculous events that continued to pay homage to the horror stories of old.  John has pieced everything together and is ready to exact his dead vengeance on those that ruined his life, but he finds he has one last chance to save his daughter from their clutches.  He doesn’t fully complete his quest as hoped, but he has one last chance to make things better, if not right.  The story certainly is campy, with John failing apart as he chases mobsters down in an old plane.  This is by design and helps it impart that old school charm.  It’s not a perfect book by any means, but successfully captures the fun and feel and wanted.
