The new “Team Angel” think they understand what Archaeus’s plans are to keep them distracted. With that in mind, Angel plans to keep himself away from Archaeus, until an argument with Faith gets him to hash out his feelings over her leaving and his fears of being controlled. Instead, they do the exact opposite of their original plan for what appear to be terrible results for them. Angel and Faith finally having a chance to resolve their issues of being apart was long overdue and welcome, though the argument precipitating it was a little forced. We imagine the new gameplay they undertake involved something else we don’t get to see, but at face value its as though they decide the worst course of action was best which is confusing. The best part of the issue comes from the revelation that one of Angel’s new friends is not on his side as we had previously thought, resulting in a fairly great twist we never saw coming. While the issue had some logic problems from are point of view, it actually picked itself up as one of the better parts of this arc so far.
