Review: ★★★★☆

Just as we had assumed, Legends of the Geomancer was not only a story about the very first Geomancer, but it also leads us to a prequel of sorts for Gilad and his brothers.  Anni has revolutionized the world during her extended life and the human race has begun to thrive like never before.  Her former friend and companion Padda, however, has continued to resist against her over all those years and is ready for one finale confrontation that Anni’s three sibling protectors are not able to stop.  Once again, it is sad this is a retailer incentive series, possibly meaning it could be harder for people to read.  It might be limited, but the series has been high quality since the first issue.  It has been a fantastic companion to Book of Death and also an excellent look at how Gilad became the Eternal Warrior, a story no fan will want to miss.
