During their Japan focused Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo announced Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympic Games. The flagship characters and their friends will join together on the Wii U and 3DS for sporting events such as soccer, golf, beach volleyball, and track-and-field.
No date was revealed for any territory, but considering the games are in August, we would suspect a release before or right around their start.
